Terms & fair use

These terms cover every Ripple Media subscription. Payments, renewals and cancellations are handled by Whop.

1. What you get

Unlimited editing requests for the edit types your plan includes: Starter (Clean Cut), Growth (Clean Cut and Motion), Elite (Clean Cut, Motion and Cinematic).

2. Active requests and your queue

Each plan has a number of requests that can be in progress at the same time: Starter 1, Growth 2, Elite 3. Further requests wait in your queue and start, in the order you sent them, as soon as a slot frees up. A delivered edit frees its slot.

3. Turnaround clocks

A request's clock starts when it becomes active. Clean Cut: 4 hours. Motion: 6 hours. Cinematic: 12 hours. Revisions: half the original clock. The clock ends when the edit is available in your portal.

4. The clock guarantee

If an edit is delivered after its clock, we add 7 free days to your subscription. One credit per late request. Clocks pause if a request can't be edited because of missing or unreadable footage, until you fix it.

5. What counts as one request

One finished short-form video up to 3 minutes of final runtime. Long-form edits up to 10 minutes count as three requests. Revisions to the same video are unlimited and free. A new video, or a different cut from the same footage, is a new request.

6. Fair use

The service is for your own brand or business. Reselling our edits as an agency to your own clients needs a separate agreement. We may refuse footage that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or that you don't have the rights to.

7. Your content

You keep all rights to your footage and the finished edits. We only use your edits in our portfolio or ads if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time. Music we add is licensed for social media use or composed for you.

8. How we edit

We use an AI-assisted editing pipeline together with human editors. Motion and Cinematic edits are reviewed by a human editor before delivery.

9. Cancelling and refunds

Cancel anytime in your Whop account; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Payments for a started period are not refunded, apart from the clock guarantee above.
